South Alabama Equine Rescue & Rehabilitation (SAERR) is a family and volunteer based horse rescue and rehabilitation facility. We depend on donations from caring individuals and companies to support the horses that come in.
With the economy as it is, many people have been unable to care for their horses. If you would like to help save these horses, any assistance that you may be able to give is greatly appreciated. All donated monies will be used for feed, hay, veterinarian services, farrier services, and other equine needs.
If you would like to help out or sponsor an animal, please see our donations page.
SAERR is registered with the State of Alabama as a Domestic Non-Profit Corporation, as well as 501(c)3 approved.
SAERR has recently moved. Due to the move, we have made the hard decision to only rehab one horse at a time until our facilities are finished. We will concentrate our efforts on organizing future gelding clinics, as well as health and educational clinics.
While we are currently limited on our intake animals, we will continue to assist the public and other organizations in networking and helping horses and animals in need.
SAERR members and volunteers also participate in small animal transport trains when available.
Thank you for your interest, prayers, and support.
If you have need of mailing/requesting anything from SAERR, please use the PO Box listed at the bottom of the page. No requests sent to L.S. home address will be processed.
